Ria Galvin

Ria has a background of administration, language interpretation and tourism. Originally from the Netherlands Ria came to NZ as a visitor, fell in love with NZ and the people and never returned back to her homeland. Ria’s love and passion is people which shines out when you meet her. With starting Superia Tours and owning Experience Rotorua Information & Booking Centre with husband Sonny, Ria uses this love and passion through tour guiding and interpreting different languages for clients and their visitors. 2 beautiful grandchildren and married to Sonny for 7 years.

Ria Galvin, Owner / Director: Born in the Netherlands immigrated to NZ in 1996.

• 11 years in administration for companies in the Netherlands
• 13 years in Tourism in retail sales, interpretation of different languages, guiding for Rainbow Springs and Freelance guiding
• Started Superia Tours NZ Ltd Tour Company in 2001 with husband Sonny
• Purchased new business Experience Rotorua Information & Booking Centre in 2007
• Responsible for the running of Experience Rotorua Information and Booking Centre and guiding tours where required
• Freelance interpreter of Dutch and German speaking clients for Agrodome
